Korie's Story And Pup Update!
Thursday, November 25:
Korie's story began in South Carolina. Found as a stray, she was taken to the shelter. This shelter was overcrowded and short on space, and Korie was due to be put down, even though she was very pregnant.
A rescuer spotted her and saw how sweet she was. She looked into her beautiful, pleading eyes and just couldn't leave her there. She is now with New Beginnings Pet Rescue in a nice, warm foster home awaiting the birth of her babies.

Korie was x-rayed at the vet to see how many babies we could expect. The vet counted SIX little spines!! (in the x-ray shown, you can see the spines and heads. It's amazing!! Korie will be a busy Momma in less then a week!!
We will keep Korie's page updated as her pregnancy continues and will certainly post when her babies are born and as they grow.

Korie had 6 beautiful puppies on December 3rd!! 4 boys and 2 girls!! Mom and babies are doing great! Pictured are Korie and her babies on the day of their birth.
